My name is Dan Cutsforth and I am entering my ninth year teaching at Dunkerton. My wife's name is
Lynda, and our family lives in Fairbank. We have three children: Ryan is grown, Grace is 7 and is
in Second Grade and Emma is 6 and in First Grade.
I am excited about teaching 5th and 6th grade
reading. I know what an awesome group the sixth graders are, and am looking forward to getting to know the fifth graders.
I
enjoy spending time with my family, camping, reading, and following Dunkerton Raider and Iowa Hawkeye sports .
I have season tickets to Hawkeye Football this fall, and am looking forward to every game. My wife works for Allen Memorial
Hospital in Waterloo. We are both very involved in activities in our church.
My favorite book of all
time (every elementary student should read it!) is Where the Red Fern Grows.
I enjoy teaching
at Dunkerton. Having attended school here Kindergarten through Grade 12, it is nice to help students learn the way so
many great teachers helped me when I was a student here.
